Bot Management in Sendra allows you to create and manage automated bots that can handle various tasks such as replying to messages, providing information, and guiding users through predefined workflow
Step-by-Step Guide to Bot Management
Navigate to the Bots Section:
On the left-hand side menu, select "Bots" to open the bot management interface.
Bot Management Interface:
List of Bots: You will see a list of existing bots along with their names, types, and actions. The actions available are to edit (represented by the blue pencil icon) and delete (represented by the red cross icon) the bots.
Create New Bot: There are two options for creating a new bot:
Create Template Based Bot: Use a predefined template to create a bot quickly.
Create Message Bot: Customize a bot based on specific messaging requirements.
Creating a New Bot:
Name: Enter a name for your bot. This helps in identifying and managing your bots.
Reply Text: Write the text that the bot will send as a reply. You can use variables like {{name}}, {{phone}}, and any other custom field name to personalize the messages.
Reply Type: Select the reply type. The options include "On exact match" or other available conditions.
Trigger: Specify the trigger that will activate the bot. This could be a keyword or phrase that, when matched exactly, will prompt the bot to respond.
Header and Footer (Optional): Add optional header and footer text for the bot’s messages.
Bot Options:
Option 1: Bot with Reply Buttons:
Button1, Button2, Button3: Enter the text for up to three quick reply buttons. These buttons allow users to respond with predefined options.
Button1 ID, Button2 ID, Button3 ID: Optionally, you can assign unique IDs to each button for tracking purposes.
Option 2: Bot with Button Link - CTA URL:
Button Name: Enter the name of the call-to-action button.
Button Link: Provide the URL that the button should link to. This can direct users to a specific webpage.
Save and Manage Bots:
Once you have filled in all the details for the bot, click the "Insert" button to save the bot. Your bot will now appear in the list of bots, where you can edit or delete it as needed.
By following these steps, you can create and manage powerful bots in Sendra that automate responses and improve customer interaction efficiency. These bots can handle routine queries, guide users through processes, and provide instant support, enhancing the overall user experience.
